It Could Get A Bit Messi In Here - The Football Thread.

Awe man, I went down the Venice Beach football club this weekend mostly to check it out for my son. I met one of the organizers at a show near their office and he said that they have pickup games for kids. I figured it would be a free cool activity to do over the summer. Well I ended up playing. Morning did I play, but it was against Steven Nash and Stu Holden. I did not expect that. Anyway I’m definitely taking my kid next weekend. They are going to have a kids hour before the adults play.

Here’s something fun. I think most that post here support a big 6/7 club whatever you want to call it. If they were to join/form a Super League, would youse still support or would you find a new club? If so, who would it be?

I would still support Arsenal but I would have to become a full time Forest fan at that point

Wrexham would still be for fun....I think about 5 more seasons and they'll get a promotion from the Championship to the prem

Can FX/Hulu wait that long tho?
You're probably right....

New script....

24/25: Fought hard but lost in the League One playoff to Birmingham (Tom Brady cameo)

25/26: Finish 2nd in League One, promoted to Championship

26/27: Lose on the final day to Sunderland who make the playoff by 1 point and get promoted (suck it Newcastle)

27/28: Win the EFL Championship by 8 points thanks to a record setting season goal tally from Erling Haaland (after City get relegated in 25/26 due to historic points deduction, Haaland takes the Hollywood check from Ryan the following year after a disappointing spell in the EFL with City's new manager Liam Gallagher)
