Oh amazing I didnt know she had an album coming out, is there a pre-order link anywhere?
I have seen Chelsea live quite a few times now as part of SEED-Ensemble, Joe Armon-Jones' group, Theon Cross' group, etc and she really does play fantastically.
On a side note, a few weeks ago I went to the 'Cross The Tracks' festival and saw afterwards that SEED-Ensemble were playing, despite me not seeing them on the line up (they actually clashed with another act I was wanting to see so no issues). I went back to it and they were listed as 'Seed'. I wonder if they have dropped the 'Ensemble' or if the festival just printed it incorrectly.

Hey guys, just another shout out for this album , well worth a listen, The US Vinyl is cut by Kev G and pressed at RTI, it really is a special album, you can listen on Bc on this review that I've included. The Only downside to the vinyl is that it interrupt's the flow as this is a continuous 74 minute track, This is Sort of like a more up tempo In A Silent Way. . . maybe. As one reviewer summed up. . transcendental, fascinating and timeless .

Yeah, I guess this is selling purely on hype. The FP/Sanders/Orchestra combo sounds really interesting to be honest. This screams 21st century spiritual jazz, and I'm all for it.
Michael Fremer says both the music and pressing are very good:

I went to a pretty incredible gig last night at the Purcell Room of the Southbank Centre here in London. It was by Ill Considered, a group that I have seen before, but this time they really created a show like no other, super immersive and almost all of it was purely improvised. The show was split into different segments (which was announced at the beginning):
1. An improvised performance by the band with the addition of it being live recorded by Lisa Wormsley onto a big screen and edited in real time. This was overlaid with an art piece being created live by Vincent De Boer, taking inspiration from the music, which was also on the big screen and layered over the video footage.
2. A improvised re-interpretation of Vincent De Boer's award-winning film 'The Stroke' (which was Ill Considered's last album to be released).
3. An audience participation that allowed the music to be changed in real-time by changing the speed and style of play. The audience were encouraged to go down to the stage and, whilst the band were playing, edit the selections on a pad that was hooked up to the big screen. Each member of the band would use the screen as a visual cue and change their speed and style in real time. Pretty damn incredible and showed just how amazing they are as musicians to be able to do that.
4. An additional performance with a guest guitarist (I missed his name but will have to find who it was), who was live-streamed onto the big screen. To make it even more interesting, the guitarist couldn't hear what was being played so the band used his playing as the lead and follow him.
5. A live art piece created by Vincent De Boer, which was live projected onto the screen with the group improvising the music based on the art created.
So incredible and clearly a lot of work went into this to make it work. Definitely a one-off performance which was superb.

FWIW, Lee Morgan Live at the Lighthouse box set is listed as "in stock soon" on Amazon, and available to order at $252.70 (showing a delivery window of November 23-29 for me). It's probably a mistake and won't be fulfilled, but no real harm in placing the order if you really want it.

I love this record - It is quite literally one of my most cherished discoveries of the past year or so. I picked up a copy on vinyl months ago, after an extended meander down a Bandcamp rabbit hole. Transcendent is a word that definitely resonates for me. Do you know if this is getting a vinyl release? I have the Tubby box which is great, but haven't gotten round to picking up live at the Hopbine '68 on Gearbox. So many records to choose from.

It's not confirmed but I believe so. I asked John at JIB if there would be a vinyl release of the Splinter's set and he said there were no plans for it but that they did have a Tubby Hayes vinyl release coming soon, so I assume that is this.Do you know if this is getting a vinyl release? The one you linked is a decent one and can be picked up at a decent price, I think I paid around the Ā£15 mark inc postage.
Theres quite a few live tubby releases now, with a couple from the Hopbine. As well as the one that you linked, there is also one from Gearbox that was recorded in 1972 (shortly before Tubby died).

I wouldnt say that the recordings are the greatest (they are good and certainly listenable) but it was clearly an amateur recording to begin with so its difficult to complain, Gearbox have gotten the best out of them I think.
