Their last album was Dark Days/Light Years in 2009 and with Gruff's solo career chugging along (he released the lovely Pang last year) and the rest of the band reconvening as Das Koolies, chances of a new SFA album seem slim.

she only recorded one album. Then some 47 years later (and three years after she died), Yep Roc released these demos as part of their Southern Folklife Collection (which has also been dormant too long but only at a little over a year). These are haunting folk tunes. They will shake your soul.

Modest Mouse - Strangers to Ourselves - 2015

Four albums in 20 years, with eight years between Ship Sank and this one. I don't have any reason to believe another one is coming any time soon. I'm all ears if and when it happens though.

They did those RSD singles. I was pretty let down by Strangers and kind of figured they were about done. I thought they were doing a collab with Big Boi or something like that, though.

I am so glad I got this one. I am a fan of 7" records and I love how this one sounds! My only proper MLB release on wax other than the Singles soundtrack. Would love some more someday, but that's gonna cost $$$$. This is also my last spin tonight! Will continue the catch up fun tomorrow!
