We still listen to this one a ton and absolutely love it! Just like @Murfocakes and Kendrick it hasn't really been that long, but I need more SZA in my life haha Top Dawg had a pretty good 2017 with just those two albums alone!

Totally agree..I once spent a long afternoon going thru the BOC catalogue..only to find that Reaper blows away all their other tracks completely

Ahem, behave yourself @Gavaxeman, I agree with @AndySlash that Astronomy slays it. And there are other slater songs in the Blue Öyster Cult repertoire- Harvester Of Eyes, Dominance & Submission. They are well worth discovering, especially the Secret Treaties album.

Portugal. the Man - Evil Friends

I didn't play em yesterday, so I'll play em today! Whether you loved Woodstock or were underwhelmed, it's always exciting waiting to see what the fellas in Portugal. the Man do next. It's been 3 years since their last album and there have been rumblings of new material being nearly ready for release.

I stumbled across them on accident while I was vacationing in Florida in 2011. I was hungover in a hotel room watching the live stream of Lollapalooza and waiting for Arctic Monkeys to play. These guys were on the stream right before and I, honestly, liked them more than the Monkeys when they played. Haha. I've been a fan ever since. I think their tour van got stolen in Chicago a few days after that Lollapalooza, which is a bummer. But, they got that radio money, now, so all is well for them.

Evil Friends was my Album of the Year for 2013 and is still on my short-list for best of the decade.
