Today I Spin-Cleaned and logged in my backlog of 30 records. Can't wait to dive into these. Anyway, I was playing records to the prompts as I went, so here is my afternoon playlist.

It was an exciting week to be a Tom Waits fan.

I thought about Turn the Page, because it's a great work song from the musician's perspective. And I figured Working for the UMC was a good double dip. But I actually forgot about his cover of Van Morrison's I've Been Working. So it's a triple!

A cult 80s synthpop LP that hasn't been repressed ever. Released in a few countries (including Japan and Brazil), but never a reissue ever. Found it at MP for $25, was given a nice deal on it since I am a frequent customer. Beyond happy that I have it!
