Metal!

Does BE fall into the so bad it’s good category for you or is it just one of those movies that’s now familiar and thus now impossible to see how bad it is? This is a safe space.
It used to be in the so bad it's good category. I saw it in theaters even. But I haven't watched it in over a decade. I don't know if I could see it as anything but bad now, but I love Forest Whitaker and will watch him in anything.

Hello!

We've got a pair of free Bandcamp compilations featuring some great Ripple Music releases from the past year. Revisit your favorite releases and discover new amazing bands - this compilation is a great way to get to know our catalogue.

The first the "Smoke of the Ancient Dead" compilation was put together by a (Waverider) who won our "So You Want to Be a Record Label CEO" contest.

Check that one out here:

The second, the "Nebula Ripples" compilation is the work of Tom Davies of Nebula. It was compiled to help him pay for medical expenses during his battle with cancer.

Listen and support him here:

Seeing all these releases in one place truly reminds us how lucky we are to be able to work with such great artist from different scenes, genres and parts of the world. And to be able to share this fantastic music with you is always a blast!

But back in the ‘80s, there was a clear division between thrash metal and glam metal. If you showed up to a Slayer gig in spandex and mile-high hair, chances are you very well would have been ridiculed. And on the other side of the coin, if you attended a Poison performance in a patch-filled denim battle jacket, you’d have stuck out like a sore thumb.

Um… did people (fans) really dress in spandex and the heavily hair sprayed hair? I don’t remember anyone dressing like that. We all had our holey denim jackets though.

Lee this is a safe space, you can tell us which member of Stryper you dressed like in the 80s.

I mean at least they kind of look like the x-men. Lol. Read the rest of the article after that. Mustaine is a weird guy. I don’t think showing a kid a picture of these guys would make them say “rock star.” Depending on the kid, he might also say x-men.

Also, I now want a Metallica covers Motley Crue album.
