Go on, geezer.
Bit confused, how did you level your table .
Honestly, I don’t remember if I ever checked to see if it was level. I just set it up and played the records.

Ok interesting approach , I will remember this as I fuss to get the level just right as in the real world there is no such thing . Would be interesting to check to see how close you are . Its the nature of what we do , to fuss over adjustment and tweaks to the end degree when in the end we may only perceive to hear the difference .Honestly, I don’t remember if I ever checked to see if it was level. How do you not know this? I have at least four.Obviously I have to check it NOW.
I don’t even know if I have a level…
Thank you. I don't mind respectful assertion.
Cleaning? If you mean what I use to clean vinyl and carts, that's an old Record Doctor (anniversary edition) and the trusty Onzow Zerodust.
I second this. Switching from a Record Doctor to the Humminguru provided the biggest upgrade I have experienced in my vinyl journey.I think you might appreciate the upgrade to an ultrasonic RCM. It’s palpable.

It’s not a device that I would use that often.

Hah, just made me think I have three digital stylus scales and they all show a different result. How do you not know this? I have at least four.
I find that a short 4 inch level works best , the three way or small bubble ones are a bit hard to use . Also can check deck vs platter , but that opens a can of worms . By now you know this forum can be like a hornets nest when prodded . Hit and run works best and maybe a shot of the foam hornet killer in the entrance of the next to trap them inside ---sorry off topic , I am badBreaking News
My wife has informed me that there is a level in the house.
Tweek away .I guess I need to mess around with my feet this weekend.

I tried one like this before and went back to a simple light 8 inch plastic level that worked better for me at least . The most important take away is to have the TT level or as close as you can get it .This is my preferred level. I bought an exact replica at a hardware store for less than $5.
VPI Crosscheck Turntable Level
VPI Crosscheck Turntable Level It sounds simple, but it's all too often overlooked. If you want the best performance from your turntable, it's got to be level. VPI's cross check level allows you to level both the fore and aft planes with one simple tool. Highly recommended.www.analogueseduction.net
****Update****@spydrwebb44 I should mention that Soundsmith's site says the low-compliance carts will work with tonearm masses of 7g to 29g, so by their own specification your Theory should be fine for the Zephyr/Zephyr MIMC Star.
Looking forward to hearing your impressions! Congrats.****Update****
I ended up springing for the Zephyr MIMC Star on HiFi Heaven late last night, which means I'm hanging onto the Theory (for now).
Cheers!
