Appparently! Measurement went from 33.46rpm (0.38% fast) to 33.34 (0.02% fast).Use the Force, Luke...
What was your trigger to change the grease. I have some MOFI grease to use but have not changed it yet . My unit runs a bit quick in the range of 33,34 rpm.huh, just cleaned my platter and re-greased the bearing and now my speed measurement is almost perfect, where before it was actually very slightly fast. Not sure how new grease slows things down, but I’ll take it.
Just realized I'd had the table for nearly four years now and not done any maintenance. I emailed MoFi regarding care and they basically just said to check the speed annually, check the bearing annually (cleaning and lightly re-greasing if necessary), and replace the belt every 3 years. I have a spare belt on-hand (thanks @AnthonyI!) but haven't seen the need to swap it since everything seems to spec. What was your trigger to change the grease. Thanks , my unit is around a year and half old , but gets limited use in the summer . I assume you wiped off the old grease and then lightly reapplied new grease . Based on some earlier post a number of people appeared to have problems with the platter settling down after regreasing due in part to using a bit too much grease . What process did you use and did you have any difficulties .Just realized I'd had the table for nearly four years now and not done any maintenance. I just lifted off the platter, wiped it down, and checked the bearing for lubricant. Then wiped the bearing down with a rag, applied a very small amount of Super Lube (like the size of a single sprinkle/jimmy), used my finger to spread it into a thin layer, then washed my hands and set the plinth back on. Gave it some time spinning to settle out and then took measurements. Thanks , my unit is around a year and half old , but gets limited use in the summer . That's the one. I didn't feel like paying $25 for MoFi's Special Ester-Based Lubricant.
What do you use to check speed? (sorry if you mentioned above, I don’t see it)huh, just cleaned my platter and re-greased the bearing and now my speed measurement is almost perfect, where before it was actually very slightly fast. Not sure how new grease slows things down, but I’ll take it.

I use the RPM Pro app on my phone, so take it with a grain of salt vs, like a test record and a wow/flutter meter. But it gives a respectably accurate reading. What do you use to check speed? (sorry if you mentioned above, I don’t see it)
Isn’t that an oil, not a grease? SuperLube makes both.
The picture above appears to be an oil , I believe the grease comes with a plunger type of dispenser for small amounts as belowIsn’t that an oil, not a grease? SuperLube makes both.
I bought this version: Super Lube 21010 Synthetic Multi-Purpose Grease.5 Oz. Translucent white color Amazon.comIsn’t that an oil, not a grease? SuperLube makes both.
It can be a bit confusing, based on their web site the picture I'm Just Ken posted appears to be the oil version with a small needle on top and the picture Kvetcha and I posted are for the grease versionI bought this version: Super Lube 21010 Synthetic Multi-Purpose Grease.5 Oz.
