I saw this trailer today and I'm not sure what to make of it...

The director - Steven Kostanski (The Void) is also the guest on the new Movie Crypt Podcast that was released tonight for Patreons - public version goes live on Monday I think.
I keep meaning to watch this, but then I think back to that oscar performance they did and decide on something else haha. But this might be the nudge I need to finally cross it off my watchlist.Got around to watching A Star is Born. Really good. Both Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper give great performances.
I was the same way. I had it on a watchlist for a while and always had something else I wanted to watch more. Couldn’t think what I wanted to see today so settled on it. Glad I made that choice. Shouldn’t have been a back burner - really enjoyed it.I keep meaning to watch this, but then I think back to that oscar performance they did and decide on something else haha. I kinda want to see it, because it looks kitschy and silly in a good way... but I also absolutely hate gore. So I think I'll skip it. It's enough that I know it exists.I give it an 8 out of 10. It was good...not hilariously funny, or really scary. The practical effects were nice to see instead of an overuse of CGI, and there is a lot of blood effects. Even though it's not rated this is still a hard R for all the gore.
I gave it a 7...it was a lot of fun, but I think I set my expectations a little too high. Well worth a watch, of course.I give it an 8 out of 10. It was good...not hilariously funny, or really scary. Some outlets misreported that this would be on Shudder yesterday, but it'll be added there in May.
Which ones are you checking out? I was thinking of doing Night of the Kings since I missed that one this year.Went a little nuts and have ten Sundance screenings lined up for next weekend...wish me luck

A fun list...
...I love a lot of the movies listed here, a few I haven’t seen and a couple I’ve never heard of.
I remember when Larry Clark’s Kids dropped. I was still in Junior High but Rolling Stone Magazine LOVED them some Kids it was an alright movie but nothing amazing. The best thing the movie gave us was Cloe Sevigny and Rosario Dawson.Never seen Kids, never heard of Paid in Full, besides those two I'm fully indoctrinated.
Wasn't that also Harmony Korine's first movie? I know he tends to be loved or hated, but I feel like he's been major in the cult movie scene that last 25 years.I remember when Larry Clark’s Kids dropped.
