There's a preshow that started at 6:30 EST that combined Rel Howrey interviewing celebs with all of the best song performances. The official show starts at 8 EST.Doesn't it start in an hour or so?
That Husavik performance tho...Yup I turned on the pre show after the White Sox game ended. I am all about awkward banter between well dressed artists. Cringy entertainment at its finest.
I was watching the E! Red Carpet stuff before this, and if you wanted cringe..lolYup I turned on the pre show after the White Sox game ended. I am all about awkward banter between well dressed artists. Cringy entertainment at its finest.
It sucks cus it's just then fawning over photos of the celebs this year, and not actually a red carpetI was watching the E! Red Carpet stuff before this, and if you wanted cringe..lol
Yeah, I am glad that at least they’ve figured out a way to air the musical performances though. That Husavik performance tho...
They eventually got to talking to a few people....but I don't think they tracked down anyone for the first half hour.It sucks cus it's just then fawning over photos of the celebs this year, and not actually a red carpet
For a second when he popped on screen I thought to myself “Man, David Duchovny really let himself go during covid”
Jeepers..he does kinda look like DuchovnyFor a second when he popped on screen I thought to myself “Man, David Duchovny really let himself go during covid”
then once I realized who it actually was my thought change to “Man, Trent Reznor looks weird in a suit”.
I'm sensing they aren't implementing a time limit this year. The French Screenwriter for The Father kinda took up all the acceptance speech time from his co-screenwriter, didn’t he?
Fuck, I hope that’s not the case, this thing will go on for like 10 hours.I'm sensing they aren't implementing a time limit this year.
They're also blasting through the awards, and cut a lot of the fat, so I think it'll balance out.I'm sensing they aren't implementing a time limit this year.
never than I can remember. My SO thought that maybe they did it so they could give Chadwick Boseman a nice send off but with Hopkins winning and no acceptance speech the whole thing was pretty anticlimactic. Not able to watch tonight but following online, but since when do they announce Best Picture before best actor/actress?
