Olivia Coleman snubbed for actress is insane. Can't believe that Lady Gaga's Gucci performance is the front runner right now with all the performances we've had this year.
 
I watched The Green Knight last night.

Lovely shots, really interesting film, but tricky to properly understand whats going on all of the time. I think I read that it is based on a poem?

Yep, an old 14th century poem I think. The story has popped up in other writers since but the original author is unknown. I loved the tone and pace of the film, and the shots were great, but it's definitely a hard story to adapt to film if you try to stay true to the source material without just using it as inspiration for a modernized screenplay. Overall I think it'll be a film I go back to and rewatch occasionally because I think I'll be able to get more out of it with each viewing. I really like movies like that, but it's tough to convince my wife to watch those kind 😉
 
I think there were some fans of the new West Side Story movie on here a few pages back, and I just saw that Covert Vinyl has one copy of the soundtrack in their 50% off sale if anyone was looking for it.
