Might have to check it out. Coming 2 America was disappointing so hopes were not high.
It wasn't bad. A good filler movie to watch. That is, you don't know what you wanna watch and just wanna choose something that won't be bad. Maybe not the highest of praise but movies like that serve a purpose.

I'd say it was better than C2A. Eddie still embodies the Axel Foley character well enough. Netflix is a proper platform for it. Get some Chinese take out, don't think too much about it, and enjoy some empty entertainment calories.

This poses an interesting question: Filler movies, do you prefer to watch something mediocre but new or a good to great movie you’ve that you’ve seen before?

Personally, I usually choose latter route mainly because a filler movie rarely has my full attention and something I’ve seen before doesn’t need it.

No wrong answer just curious.

Great movie I've seen before. Something more to get out of it usually vs a mediocre movie I'll forget instantly. A waste of my time.

I usually go for a mediocre movie that's new. If it's a good one I've seen, I'll usually get sucked in or want to rewind to see certain scenes. That makes it more involved that I want to be.

I'll add on BHC4, I tend to enjoy Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Kevin Bacon, so the supporting cast was a draw on what I expected going in.

Good to great movie I've seen before. However, if I'm exhausted a mediocre new movie is less daunting sometimes. I don't feel as if I need to give it my all and let it soak into soul.
