Yup. They also completely cut out the 6th and youngest brother that died by suicide at 21 (gunshot to the head) because the even the screenwriters felt that it was a bit too much.

Yeah, and the director said it was impossible to give gravitas and depth to make that death mean something in an 2 hour film other than for shock value.

I love this channel. Last of the Mohicans and Heat are on my 90s Essentials rewatch list with the older daughter. I don't know if she could sit through The Insider. I wonder if their version of Thief will be the full release that's coming out in March.

Watched Conclave last night, that was really well done

We also watched Conclave last night. I enjoyed it though I wasn't really sold on the twist at the end. Great acting and very well shot. I would put it behind Anora and The Brutalist in my Oscar race. Still need to see A Complete Unknown.

I've seen the trailer for Conclave and I cannot get over the "Cardinal Voldemort" aspect of it.
