Yeah, and the director said it was impossible to give gravitas and depth to make that death mean something in an 2 hour film other than for shock value.Yup. I've seen the trailer for Conclave and I cannot get over the "Cardinal Voldemort" aspect of it.We also watched Conclave last night. I enjoyed it though I wasn't really sold on the twist at the end. Great acting and very well shot. I would put it behind Anora and The Brutalist in my Oscar race. Still need to see A Complete Unknown.
