Grace is an old friend by now but Ive never heard this Tom Waits album and I've never even heard of the Mescaleros!

Wow! You lucky lucky person! Heart attack and Vine is a hugely under-rated album and Grace may well be the most important album of the 1990s! Enjoy enjoy enjoy!

Rilo Kiley - The Execution of All Things
Ben Webster Quintet- Soulville
NICE!!! Both LP’s have been on my list for a while and I am very happy to move them over to my collection. Execution of All Things was my introduction to Rilo Kiley and was a big part of my early 20s. Soulville was a VMP discovery, it was a ROTM prior to me joining and I loved what I heard when I downloaded it. Aesthetically the etched Verve label is also really unique and fun. The package also contained some Saddle Creek wrapping paper, some promotional stickers and the VMP Ben Webster art print. I am grateful to whomever my Secret Santa is though I have fallen short with my sleuthing. The package order originated at a UPS store outside of DC but the Virginia members I am thinking of aren’t super close so I am a bit stumped. Regardless a big Thank you your gifting was top notch and much appreciated. Cheers!

hello! I’m glad you like the selections; that Soulville is my personal copy and I believe it to be well taken care of. I wish I’d thought to include more extras (like, say, a note), but I was a bit frazzled last week.

Such a great album and pressing! Couldn't help it when I was listening to it and noticed it wasn't on your discogs! And to bring it full circle for the San Diego connection, I saw this tour at SDSU Open Air Theater w/ Black Keys opening!
