N&G Secret Santa - 2020

I caved, and opened up my Santa gifts!
I’ve never listened to Massive Attack before(I know, blasphemy) but I’m aware of this album and reputation. I’ve never heard of Darkside so both selections will be new for me!! HUGE thanks to @ByersVinyl for thinking outside of my box! I really appreciate it and Merry Christmas!!

I have 9 packages headed to me.... 5 of which I know the contents.... I’m glad my Santee got theirs today..... I feel for you and I feel for the overworked elves at the postal carriers....

And here I was patiently waiting for Xmas day until u opened 😂
Hope u enjoy, Mezzanine should provide u with instant reward.
Darkside I just love but that album gives if you allow it repeat plays (although paper trails just smashes it straight away)
ps U might want to be alone in a dark room when u immerse urself into “The Darkside”

I was going to wait until Christmas Eve but I couldn’t wait anymore 😁.
 
A big thank you to @TenderLovingKiller® who hit it out of the park! Paul McCartney’s Flaming Pie reissue was on my Discogs. Live Drugs was on the want list in my head. Add a fridge magnet from his local zoo, a discount chip from a local brewery for when I come visit and a really nice letter and the package is amazing! Oh, and I’ve gotten into stickers from stores across the country (thinking of decorating my cubicle at work with them). So now I’ve got a High Voltage sticker as well. Thank you so much!

Merry Christmas @HiFi Guy ! I am glad it got there hopefully in good shape. I hope you enjoy em. IMO the Live Drugs sounded pretty stellar and you can never go wrong with Macca!

Yeah, just weird that it said it departed 3 days ago. I had a couple others sit at places for days (weeks), but this one actually said it was moving on. No worries, I'm sure it will get there!

though when im reminded of flaming pie all i think of is the time when pitchfork forgot to write a review and we all wondered if they were trolling
