I am still of the opinion we should do something different from VMP (and yes I realize VMP isn't the only one to do an obi-like extra).

I can always stick the avatar of the picker at the bottom on the left hand flap. And It can be made wider to incorporate a write up.This is gorgeous. Maybe there should be a space for the forum moniker of the picker, and maybe room for a write-up ?
And I get that and fully admit I have no alternative just my thought as I know this place isn't supposed to be VMP 2.0I really don't know what kind of "extra" that everyone can afford to print or make we could do that wouldn't be some kind of variation on an obi or a j-card or whatever the name we give a piece of paper or cardboard to slip into a plastic sleeve ?
Omg Omg Omg Omg

Again I 100% get that but this is one thing VMP does for all their selections, I think it would be neat to do something completely different. We are not pressing our own records or anything, those are not "special edition" or "limited", this is just our own curation, we shouldn't view this as an alternative to any other company that is selling their own records. We do not do cocktails recipes, we do not do art prints, we do not do stencils, we do not do liner notes as a small warping booklet. We do not sell anything.
We just want to highlight the curation and the record in our collections.
All that said, this is designed beautifully and my comments are by no means to down put this great design.

And I didn'tIt's mostly something japanese have been doing for decades. I'm not prepared to give ownership of obi-strips to VMP.
My question is, what? What could we do that's different to sort of represent the curation aspect of Needles and Grooves? I don't know what other clubs do for that, if they do anything at all.Again I 100% get that but this is one thing VMP does for all their selections, I think it would be neat to do something completely different.
