Needles & Grooves AoTM : General thread & archive

I'd rather have the announcement on the 25th, I agree we need a bit of space between ending one month and starting another, but previous threads can be revived or discussion kept alive while another has started...

I know VMP didn't invent them but that is a feature now of all their Tracks, we are trying to set ourselves apart from VMP so doing something that is a major feature of their current lineup doesn't feel like we are differentiating ourselves

Everything is possible at this step and we won't create any obi right now. So we can keep looking what could be the best option to customize the AoTM.

That is all I am asking before we just immediately move towards the fauxbi when we do something

It might be hard at this stage to determine the best timing for these AotM. Depending of the picker/runner, we may have only a few or quite a lot of guesses/hints, it will lead people to be more or less excited with the pick and a more or less active thread. I like the 5 to 10 days window to buy and start listening, discussing, etc... Plus, as ChristoBee said earlier today, a past AOTM thread can stay alive even with a new guess thread opened.

or the other way around, the first half of the month guessing the second half discussing

the problem is that gives us only about 2 weeks to guess the record of the month.

Hey @Goatfish, seems like we'll have a lot to discuss next week. Choose wisely your record and the hints, these guys and girls are real snakes and will even send you private messages to try to trap you! Don't trust any of them! :)
