I only noticed because I saw the Vangelis connection and thought, wow, I bet that's it, then went to discogs to check connections for other songs and only saw CDs. My guess was one that isn't available new either, unless you chase down a $120 box!

Has anybody mentioned ABC's 1990 Earth Day Special that featured, among others, Carl Sagan, Danny Devito, Neil Patrick Harris, and Robin Williams?

I don't know what it has to do with anything, but there it is.

These seem to be the songs that were featured on the Earth Day Special. Apart from "The planet raps back" I see Barbra Streisand singing "Somewhere" (the Leonard Bernstein song) and "One day".
Maybe one of these songs is covered on the past 2000 album we're looking for.
