Needles & Grooves AoTM /// Vol. 3 - September 2019 /// Nicole Atkins - Goodnight, Rhonda Lee

Looks like my Julia Holter guess is front-runner! St Vincent’s self-titled is not St Vincent’s most pop-sounding album yet. That definitely goes to Masseduction! 💁‍♀️

I think it’s Julia Holter but I’m scared @Teeeee doesn’t want me to win because I’m crazy and controversial and didn’t put in effort to explain why I chose Julia Holter as my guess. As a result, she will change the AOTM to something else! 🤣🤔😭🙈

Which cuts of meat are used over there?
We don't do much burgers in Brazil, we prefer picanha (for what I could gather it's called rump cap in the UK - don't know if there's a difference to Ireland), fraldinha (skirt steak), pork ribs and sausages.

I think it all depends on how you want to cook it to be honest.

If it’s going straight on the grill for quick cooking I’d probably use a similar steak to what I’d have in the pan. A rib eye/sirloin or maybe even a fillet. If I’m taking a bit more care and marinating it and cooking slower I might move to a skirt/flank steak. Rump steak would be where I’d get my mince for my burger.

Looking at where on a cow picanha comes from I think that part of a cow tends to be where we take our silverside/topside joints from to make our Sunday roast beef rather than for steak.
