My girlfriend has been working from home since the beginning of the strike (29 days and running). There are no trains stopping by our station in the neighbors of Paris so I guess she doesn't really have the choice (which is, IMO, actually good for her and mini-me)

Woah! 29 days on strike! That’s chaos! Are the buses rammed then? Did they come off strike over the Christmas period to let people get home for the holidays etc?

But yeah if she can work from home that’s a definite win all around for little family @Skalap!

They didn't stop for the holidays, a lot of trains got cancelled, other got added but communication was terrible. We had a train to go to Bordeaux that was half-empty while some people couldn't find a way to go to see their family and spent Christmas alone. It's a shit show and I don't see the government nor the parties to try to find a solution to this situation.
