Neil Young

Never knew about all this. Comps have played a huge role in getting me into bands from earlier generations. BTW if you're a Dylan fan you should check out that guy's newsletter.

Yeah, its an awesome comp. I am not a big comp guy but I picked up on vinyl a few years ago for like $20. Its a great line up...

I've actually never heard this one, though it's been on my radar for years and being a Neil fan for much of my music listening life. Going to have to seek it out soon.

Off the Neil subject but this is another great one if you ever run across it.

Check out how Earwigs turn Four Sticks into a swinging monster...

I’m actually considering moving from Spotify based on this (The Best Show, a favorite podcast of mine, has also deplatformed from the service); I have an Apple Music trial and am impressed with the sound quality. My only reservation is the lack of integration re: last.fm scrobblong…

Another good tribute:

Was already considering jumping over to Apple before all this went down. Neil's move pushed me to the edge, and this seals the deal. Gonna transfer my playlists and cancel this weekend.
I made the switch last week right before all this came out because of the better sound quality. I just hate that all the major services are corporations with extra terrible reputations. I'm holding out hope that Bandcamp will do a service eventually that has a good revenue share model with artists. It honestly should pay more per stream to small artists than the big ones. I'd line up for that.
