Neil Young

I saw some news that he was putting a new version of the Weld video out on NYA Hearse Theater, but I can't find it now. Timeline wise, it would make sense that he's up to Freedom / Ragged Glory for re-release.
I used to have that on VHS, and all the shots of the crowd jamming out, singing along were pretty cringy. Music was phenomenal though.

And the new NY+Crazy Horse album World Record coming 11/18/22. Jesus does he ever rest?

World Record captures the Horseā€™s long-running spirit of spontaneous, collaborative, and electrifying performances. The resulting listening experience sets fans directly on the studio floor as Young and the legendary band do what they do best.

Thereā€™s affecting folk (ā€œThis Old Planet (Changing Days),ā€ ā€œLove Earthā€), pummeling rock (ā€œBreak The Chain,ā€ ā€œThe World (Is In Trouble Now)ā€), and monumental, classic Crazy Horse guitar (ā€œChevroletā€). World Record is a cohesive vision that spreads positive energy while not flinching from our present situation. As Young himself said in a message on the Times-Contrarian during the making of World Record: ā€œReal magic lasts and we think we have it.ā€

To optimize audio quality, the vinyl format of World Record will be released as a three-sided double album with an etching on side four. There will also be a limited-edition version of the album pressed on clear vinylā€”a first in Youngā€™s body of workā€”available via The Greedy Hand Store.

World Record will also be issued on cassette and as a double CD set (mirroring the track sequence of the double LP).

All Greedy Hand Store purchases of World Record (LP, CD and cassette) come with free hi-res digital audio downloads from the Xstream Store Ā© at NYA.

Produced by Rick Rubin and Neil Young.

Black vinyl is $44.98

Also offering a clear vinyl variant for $49.98 exclusive to Greedy Hand
