this came up in my YouTube feed, apparently there’s another NY & Crazy Horse album coming out called Toast. I don’t see anywhere to order yet, but this track sounds pretty great!

I don’t buy the box sets, Is that what they did with Homegrown too?If I had to guess, it will be released as part of Archives iii with a vinyl release shortly following.
Those aren’t even on vinyl.I don’t buy the box sets, Is that what they did with Homegrown too?
So we got a guaranteed 20 minute ripper in there2xLP for 7 songs
The same could be said about the Bowie boxes but we’re still waiting on the individual reissues of the 90s box…![]()
I have unreleased version of Old Ways on my hard drive. Not sure if that qualifies and an unreleased album though since it was released (just not this version).Between Hitchhiker, Homegrown, Island in the Sun and Toast that's most of the 'known' unreleased albums that are now seeing the light of day. The only other one I can think of offhand is the original Chrome Dreams - although 3 of those tracks did show up on Hitchhiker.
I think some sort of “Early Days” Crazy Horse album (compilation?) has been mentioned before as well. Oceanside/Countryside still shows up on the NYA timeline, and Summer Songs is only on NYA as well.Between Hitchhiker, Homegrown, Island in the Sun and Toast that's most of the 'known' unreleased albums that are now seeing the light of day. I've got a box full of boots from the CD trading days collecting dust in the garage. Gonna have to search through them. And find a CD player...I think some sort of “Early Days” Crazy Horse album (compilation?) has been mentioned before as well. Have you or anyone else heard any version of Toast before? I’m curious to know if this will be a ripper in the style of Ragged Glory or Psychedelic Pill… but not quite curious enough to blindly preorder it.I've got a box full of boots from the CD trading days collecting dust in the garage. As far as I know, Toast stayed under wraps. Goin' Home w/ Crazy Horse was released on Are You Passionate but I don't think any studio sessions snuck out besides that. Gateway of Love did show up in live sets in 2001 though. If I had to guess I'd think it will be closer to Psychedelic Pill than Ragged Glory.Have you or anyone else heard any version of Toast before? I’d be happy with that. IMO that’s his best album of the 21st century (and I still rue passing up on the opportunity to buy the vinyl for $35 a few years ago).If I had to guess I'd think it will be closer to Psychedelic Pill
Saw somewhere (Amazon?) that it’s just three sides of music. So only 10-minute rippers I guess. So we got a guaranteed 20 minute ripper in there
That makes sense, he's been doing a lot of side D etchings lately.Saw somewhere (Amazon?) that it’s just three sides of music. So only 10-minute rippers I guess.
It better just be a big piece of Toast on side 4 then. That makes sense, he's been doing a lot of side D etchings lately.
