Neverending Covid-19 Coronavirus

It's expected the experts have been sidelined.

I suppose it will help him if the experts are not rolling their eyes or facepalming in real time behind him.

Trump had his first coronavirus evening briefing last night since April. And it was full of face claims.

Fatality rate
The President has previously bragged that the US has the lowest coronavirus mortality rate worldwide. During Tuesday's press conference, he was less definitive.
"Our case fatality rate has continued to decline and is lower than the European Union and almost everywhere else in the world," Trump said.
He later added: "We have done much better than most and with the fatality rate at a lower rate than most."
Facts First: By several measures, the US coronavirus fatality rate is one of the highest worldwide.
While the observed case-fatality ratio has decreased since earlier this month, as of Tuesday morning the US fatality rate of 3.7% was lower than only nine of the 20 countries most affected by covid-19, according to data from Johns Hopkins. In terms of coronavirus deaths per capita, the US ranked third.

Trump also made claims about how we have more than enough supplies and have no shortages.

My question is how she got on the plane in the first place. Either the airline wasn't enforcing the policy at the gate, or she was wearing a face covering long enough to get on the plane, at which point she deliberately provoked the confrontation.

Most instances of this have been the latter. They put the facemask on just long enough to get on the plane, because they wouldn't be allowed on otherwise. Then take it off and make a fuss about their rights and freedom.

My uncle was going on about COVID testing is a scam. They are just marking you as testing possible because it brings in more money to the healthcare system.

He then went on to say a buddy of his went to get tested a couple weeks ago on a 100 degree day. After waiting in line outside to be tested for 2 hours and having at least 2 more hours of waiting in front of him and and his wife said screw it and left. Never got tested. A week later they got their test results back in the mail and both had tested positive.

My uncle as the questions, if they never were even tested, how could they have tested positive. It's a scam. At the testing center you had to repregister your spot in line, so the testing site already had your info, and spot in line.

He says this is proof that they are just saying you test positive and you test positive to generate more profits and make Donald Trump look bad.

I don't believe the store for one bit. It sounds like pure BS to me. But stories like that spread like wildfire and are believed to the the truth by many.

so what they are saying is that the healthcare for profit system in the US is corrupt, and we should maybe try something different? okay, I'm on board!

but for real- the whole "my friend's dad went to get tested, ran out of time, and then was notified he was positive" raised an eyebrow... the first time I heard it a few weeks back.

now, it's every single person I know in TX, TN, and beyond saying, "well, my best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw their dad get fake covid results last night," and none of it is serious.

They’re all referring to the same person! 6 degrees of “fake Covid results”
