Just started it, about four songs in now. I really liked her last album. This one is definitely different. It sounds more like Sault than before, and kinda sorta ditches the more grand type of sound from SIMBI. But she's so good on these songs.

Agreed, wasn't familiar with her but a buddy recommended it and I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to going through her back catalog.
Anyone know the sample(s) on Heart on Fire? Sounds so familiar, yet can't place it.

Last listening update for the year. Not much here. My top50 for '22 are selected, currently focused on last-minute organization.
over the last week. I played this one several more times thanks to its quick runtime at work, and twice at home. Something clicked. It is a very unique piece of art pop; just the way I like it. 
- Little Simz - NO THANK YOU [continuing her consistency. As someone mentioned, she's harnessing a palpable level of SAULT influence here, given that she's been involved in a few of their records]
- Boldy James - Be That as it May [not really one of his best but still an enjoyable, quick, and familiar ride]
- Lexie Liu (刘柏辛) - 幸福星 (The Happy Star) [sometimes the production goes off, sometimes it doesn't. Enjoyable enough pop either way]
- SZA - SOS [I can't tell many of these tracks apart]
