There's some really nice tracks on Girl in Red's debut album but I'm not sure how I feel about the album as a whole

I feel similarly about the Dawn Richard album, which is a little disappointing after ordering it based on a couple very strong singles. Gonna spend some more time with it next week to see whether its a keep, or possibly my first PIF.

Smart move. It's not a terrible album by any means, but the back half definitely started to feel like it was lagging a bit.

Okay, last time I mention how good this one is here. Released today, I recommend at least giving it a shot. Going to be up there in the AOTYs for me

Probably would have passed this one over if not for this post, and I'm glad I didn't. Dunno that it'll be an AOTY for me, but I'm enjoying it quite a bit and think the wife might love it even more!

It’s certainly grown on me as I’ve been playing it on repeat today. I loved their past records too, but this one seems fuller

I have the exact same feeling about both these albums. Some great tracks, but not sure if it's that good as a whole. Maybe these albums will grow when listening to them several times.

Very interested in this based on the single, the sound design is very similar to the more recent Death Grips projects (for obvious reasons) but just taken in a different direction. Gonna wait to order it on Bandcamp Friday
