I'll be giving another, deeper, listen after work tonight but my initial impression is that I enjoyed it less than I'd expected/hoped but still quite a bit (like, I figured it would be high in my top 10 for the month right out the gate, but it's currently hovering right around the cut-off.)

Yeah, I'm two full listens in, and I'm still not yet sure how I truly feel about it. Is it a good album? Yes! Is it experimental and not what I expected? Yes! Is it a well-rounded album that I will continue to listen to? Not sure Methinks it will be one of those albums that needs at least half a dozen spins to fully realize.

Psych/doom-wop surf rock outta Saskatoon, produced by Dallas Good of The Sadies and inspired in part by the trio's mother’s high school years at an all-girls Catholic boarding school and convent in small-town 1960’s Saskatchewan...
