New ultrasonic vinyl cleaner in the works: Humminguru

Both.

Bottom to get the PCB you swapped out.

They also asked me to take the top off to send a different PCB in too.

Taking the top off involved literally prying it apart using a flat head screwdriver and hammer just off centre to the right on each of the short sides.
Mother of god. You are in deep my friend.

Can you post pictures of the topside guts?

Oh boy. I just received the parts for my fix, and we'll see how that goes. They seem to think to think the gearbox is bad and needs replaced. This ought to get me all sweaty.

It was the PCB that the gearbox clips into that I had to take out. Taking the top off is completely doable if you follow the instructions, it’s just a very tight fit so needs a couple of taps!

Gonna try it in a few, hoping for the best. Thanks!

After doing a fair bit of searching on the net today, and after my Guru went down on Tuesday, i was pleased in some way to find that mine wasn't the only having issues.
I was one of the original backers (#403) and received my unit in November last year and since then have basically cleaned around 400 records over that time (just a small fraction of my 12-15000 collection), it decided to give up the ghost, the problem seems to be the same as @folsom_lives & similar to @Joe Mac unlike Joe's mine doesn't judder after you press start instead it does nada once you press the Go Button. the only function it seems to do is drain & dry not very handy if it doesn't wash first.

So far Happywell have said to take the bottom off and check that the two black wires next to the compacitor hadn't come loose, so I had to unplug them and re-insert them again, this worked for 1 record, so emailed them again, but sadly they are 8hours ahead of the UK, so now it's a waiting game.

Pretty poor for a machine that's 7 months old, and has has less use than a lot of people on here

Despite the time delay, they at least seem to have been helpful and responsive for folks here with issues. I hope that they're able to get you up and running soon, and fix some of these deficiencies on newer builds.
