Don’t forget moist.
I wish I'd thought to do a before/after of these old ABBA records I'd thought were beat to hell. Did 5 minute soak vacuum cleans and they were...fine, but crackly, with a lot of surface noise and occasional pops. I did a 10 minute/10 minute run through the Humminguru and Voulez Vous sounds almost new.
This thing is going to make crate digging a lot more worry-free.
Have you tried listening to one side of a Spin Clean, or whatever system you used prior to the US cleaner, record and then washing it with the new rig and relistening? Very telling.Yeah I’ve noticed that with older records too. Doing the 5 minute clean then the 15 minute auto really does bring them up a treat! I love 70s/80s presses as it is and this is just going to make me buy more!

Thats exactly what happened to me...I got some with my Lintons and was starting to put them on to handle the speakers. But I had a sudden jolt of fear that my wife would walk in and laugh hysterically at me.
I am fully trying to remove Moist from my memory. But if you insist on keeping the dream alive, I am going to make sure everyone else never forgets too.
That’s been my MO so far - clean a bunch of records all day, dump water in sink and rinse water tank and filter, wipe out inside of machine and let dry overnight. No droplets on tonight’s cleanings.
Progress?
Also, I’m guessing I should be removing, rinsing, and letting the water filter dry every time I am done cleaning for the night?
Surprisingly not!Is your guys’ water reservoirs at the end of cleaning all day pretty dirty?
Surprisingly no! A little dirty but not bad at all. I did wipe it with a paper towel and it showed some dirt but unlike the spin clean I didn’t see it in the bottom of the tank built up.Is your guys’ water reservoirs at the end of cleaning all day pretty dirty?

This update means people probably sent nasty emails to the company complaining about how they haven’t received theirs yet haha. People are the worst.Shipping notice ! [EDIT] Not a shipping notice
Dear Backers,
We totally understand how eager you are to receive the HumminGuru! Our shipping crew has been arranging the shipment with our best effort. Unfortunately, due to the shipping peak season, the courier begins to enforce strict limits on how many packages companies can send out each day. It limits our daily output for different continents that divided into three as follows:
Region 1: North and South America
Region 2: Europe (Including UK)
Region 3: Asia & Oceania
The courier allows us to ship out only 20 packages per day for Region 1 and 2. For Region 3, the courier imposed the limits to 40 packages per day. Therefore, our shipping plan needs to get adjusted. Our crew will continue to ship out in order of priority according to the backer’s number, but we will arrange it based on the region you are in. That being said, we will arrange in order of priority for backers who live in North and South America (Region 1). For example, the backer #334, #450, #500 live in the US and Canada in which they belong to Region 1. Then our crew will ship order#334 first and then #450 and #500.
On the other hand, there are backers questioning about the shipment sequence, as being perceived some backers with a later backer number receiving the package earlier than the others. Again, we would like to clarify that those are the backers who had pledged for the pack of two and three rewards. However, we did not prioritize their shipment because of their reward types. It’s because we received a request from our shipping crew to facilitate the workflow and shipment efficiency when it came to the first backer who had pledged for the pack of two and three rewards. Since it was a very small number of backers with the pack of 2 and 3 rewards, our team approved to follow their suggestion and have them all shipped out together.
At last, all logistic companies are facing a flood of packages during the peak season. The transit time will take a bit longer than usual. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and patience! HumminGuru(s) are on the way.
Love & peace,
HumminGuru Team.
