I mean, you’re right. We’ve been pretty spoiled. I think that’s one of the most frustrating parts. A season where none of the really expensive guys were out half the season with injuries. They’ve made playoffs with way worse rosters. It was a good run. As a Penguins fan I’ve been spoiled. It’s a shame that this team was mismanaged in spurts. Probably could have had 1 or 2 more but oh well.
Wasted season considering Crosby & Malkin’s play.

Have to assume some sort of change is coming. I feel like maybe there’s enough respect for what they’ve done in the past to hold off on any blasts from the front office until after the playoffs. (And to see what the playing field looks like).
I think how they handle how this season shook out is going to say a lot about how they’re going to be as owners. I mean, the streak had to end eventually, but someone has to be the captain of the ship that went down for the first year after 16 in a row. I’d guess FSG will want blood, but how much and how it looks is the big question.Frustrating is the perfect word. Besides Sid and Malkin staying healthy, Zucker and Rakell had solid seasons.
FSG needs to decide if they’re going to put their stamp on this organization or just sit back. I don’t expect Sullivan to be sacked, but I’d be surprised if Hextall is still employed come Monday.
I'm rooting for McJesus and the Oilers! Here are my top teams that I want to see lose in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
#1-VGK
#2-NYR
#3-NYI
#4-FL
#5-TBL
I used to despise NJD but I’m indifferent now. Kind of meh on the Canes.
Basically I’m ok with Toronto or Boston in the final.
West is wide open but I’d love to Edmonton in the final. It would be great for the league.
Word on the street is Hextall could be fired as early as today! No word on Burke. I read somewhere that Pens will likely not resign Zucker despite him having a good season, unless he takes a hometown discount. As for Jarry, they'll likely offer him a contract but I can't imagine Dumo coming backChanges I’d like to see next season for the Pens.
-Say goodbye to Jarry. If the Pens insist on keeping him, make him the backup.
-It would be great if they could get rid of Rust but for now L3 duty only. He should never play top 6 minutes again.
-Bye out Granlund or find a foolish gm that will take him in a trade.
-G’bye Dumo
-Zucker had a good season. Don’t know if the Pens will keep him.
-Blow up the bottom 6
-Fire Hextall
and finally….if this doesn’t happen I’m going to boycott watching Pens games….
