NHL Thread Because There Isn't An NHL Thread

Well that didn't take long, Caps fire Reirden. I think it was the right move as they looked completely uninspired this postseason and really since around January. MacLellan says he wants to bring in someone experienced to push the veteran guys. I guess that would narrow the list down to: Mike Yeo, Peter Laviolette, Mike Babcock, Gerard Gallant, and Bruce Boudreau (don't see them bringing him back though). Not sure who I'd prefer here, maybe Gallant or Laviolette. Hopefully whoever it is can bring the 2018 playoffs Kuzy back because he's been awful and inconsistent since.

Lehner gets 1st career playoff shutout, Golden Knights dominate Canucks 5-0 Sunday night. VGK continuing the torrid play that saw them go 11-2 before the NHL shut down the regular season March 12th due to the pandemic. They won all 3 round-robin seeding games and then dispatched the Blackhawks 4-1. They are looking like the real deal.

What the hell is going on with the Avs in this series!?!? Already down 2-0.
Back half of the second period apparently Dallas woke up and decided they were a hockey team. Avs looked ok, but felt disorganized - McKinnon made them look better than they maybe were playing.
