The Chicago Blackhawks have signed:
Defenceman Alec Martinez to a one-year, $4 million contract.
Goaltender Laurent Brossoit to a two-year, $6.6 million contract with an AAV of $3.3 million.
Forward Craig Smith to a one-year, $1 million contract.
Forward Patrick Maroon to a one-year, $1.3 million contract.

How many times was this guy a healthy scratch last season?
Well Nashville began the day with 26.3 million in cap space but they are going to have trade someone, possibly two before the season starts. They have 4 RFA's that need to be extended and only have 500,000 at present. That isn't going to work unless you are Vegas.

Yeah. Dubas is planning for the future. I think the Pens will have 8 draft picks next year.
I'm not expecting much this season. I don't think they'll make the playoffs and if I were Sid, I wouldn't extend.
