I loved this album in the immediate months after its release, but that was nearly 2.5 years ago now. Her antics and absurd connection to Elon have turned me off as of recent. This one can probably hit the road. A few songs I still like on this one.
First spin (acquired as a gift from Tony of Musique Plastique for free last December). I would've hated this pre-2017. But now, I am content with art pop/experimental sounds being a substantial portion of where my tastes in music reside.
This is the oldest album in my official back log, I have plenty of other records I have spun before but this is the oldest of the “gotta spin before I put it on the shelf”. I got it from VMP the month it released and I’ve honestly been terrified to play it because I heard nothing but awful things about this pressing. It’s definitely not perfect but I didn’t notice any glaring issues with it lol
#64 Various – Musical Excerpts From The Rock Opera Jesus Christ Superstar
First spin. I've had this one for probably about two and a half years. I have a standing policy of scooping up any versions of Jesus Christ Superstar I come across with little or no hesitation, but it's also pretty much the one thing in my collection that my wife dislikes more than Sun Ra!
This would still be on my eventual revised top50 all time. A record that pairs with a variety of situations, especially while studying educational material.
