Yeah...I'm only doing as I'm catching up anyway...and it's distracting me from the piles of records stacked up needing to be listened to and filed away. I probably won't do 2 for every day, but for now I don't actually mind it.

CSS - Cansei de Ser Sexy - a fun indie dance record by four ladies from Brazil that I'm sure are sitting around a table in Florida trying to figure out which Golden Girl they are while living out their golden years...
AND
Gonjasufi - A Sufi & A Killer - seems weird and off kilter enough for a David Lynch movie or show...my only memories of Twin Peaks, a show I swear I watched all the way through, was going over to a friend's house and being very high walking in on a group of people watching the show and noticing just how quiet it was and how they seemed to talk really long pauses between sentences...but that could have been because of the state I was in and not the show...I should re-watch that again...for the first time?

I feel like Amen Dune is an apt selection .

Yeah, kinda dug in a bit to the meaning but lost focus. I think this fits, but if not it's kinda a perfect album for this fine morning in PDX.

Jenny Lewis with the Watson Twins was essentially a solo record but it does credit the Watson Twins in the title so I think it qualifies as a group. Which is good because I really wanted to post a video of Jenny Lewis as a child actor on The Golden Girls playing a cutthroat Sunshine Cadet…

The Ruen Brothers seem like a band that has the right mix of nostalgic flair and some darkly romantic brooding charm that would appeal to Lynch. Heck, you told me David Lynch directed the video below I would probably believe ya.
