Thanksgiving was more than a month ago over here. But your Black Friday has completely crept up here. It was started on the idea that this was the day that retail stores balance sheets came back in the black (it's just an idea though... the main point was creating a holiday retail event).

"As god as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly". It's probably good that Arthur Carlson wasn't into the Dead, or he might have gone with track four from this album, Stronger Than Dirt or Milkin' the Turkey, for the promo instead. Lord only knows how that would have turned out.

Dr. Johnny Feelgood though, I'm sure he was all about the Dead.

Football and Thanksgiving go hand in hand. I always root for the Lions (unless they are playing Da Bears) and root against the Cowboys (unless they are playing Green Bay). A Turkey is kind of a “Meat Puppet” plus both the Lions and my fantasy football team hope Jamal Williams is a “Touchdown King” today!

Yeah, I don’t have many albums having to do with 🤠, 🦁 or 🏈 in my collection so for me, it was either Soul Explosion or Be the Cowboy. (or my Bob Marley box set, but I didn’t realize that until I’d already put Mitski on lol)

I woke up at 3am and started it up right at 4 when the marathon began....it's been playing on my TV all day in the background....I haven't had time to sit and watch much of it, but I think I've seen parts of all the episodes so far.

The cover could be straight from a scene from the show. In high school, I spent a lot of time at Club Impact in Tacoma, which was an all-ages punk venue that supported a lot of local bands. I thought MxPx was the greatest thing to come out of Bremerton until I met my wife.
