18.On the topic of death, one of my favourite characterizations of Death of the Endless from Neil Gaiman’s Sandman Universe comics. An immediate hit from her first appearance in The Sandman #8 she went on to star in two mini-series of her own, among many other appearances. The trade paperback for her first mini-series Death: The High Cost of Living featured an introduction by Tori Amos.

Sofia Kourtesis - Madres (signed)
Kourtesis is a Peruvian electronic producer/DJ, currently based in Berlin, Germany. Her debut record Madres had its one year anniversary last month, one of my top10 from last year. Excellent timing as well since I saw her perform a DJ set last week in Portland; one of my top5 favorite shows this year! She signed the inside of the gatefold with a detailed message before she took stage.
