I guess just depends on how much you listen to it? Sometimes I get caught up in double dipping or trying to get a "better" copy of something and then realize that I don't listen to the album a ton anyway.

I have ~3000 pieces of vinyl. I pretty much need to spin ten slabs every day to get everything listened to in a year.
This is one of the reasons I don’t do a lot of chasing after better copies. There are a few things I want to replace, would love audiophile versions of Bob Iver, Bridger’s Punisher… I decided after listening to my standard capital Pet Sounds last night having just listened to hi res on Qobuz that I need to save up some of the budget and replace it with the Ap (probably get the stereo in 33 and the mono in 45). Most of the dupes in my collection are mixes not masters.

That doesn’t usually happen with the higher profile artists. There have been some discounts like that on some Morgan and Silver.

Have had two copies. Both had no-fill distortion issues in about the same spot. Mostly minor. Otherwise sounds great.

Yeesh. Maybe I'll just stick with my 80s copy then.
I've rarely been bitten with bad luck on Blue Notes, but sounds like it's a matter of time on these TP/BNCs for me.

You must be lucky. About 1 in 5 that I buy have no-fill issues.
Off the top of my head, the latest Herbie Hancock and Ike Quebec have issues.
