I haven’t gotten many this year but have really been enjoying The Magnificent Thad Jones and Stanley Turrentine Blue Hour classics.Any recs for Blue Note Classics or Tone Poets released this year? Or any of the Verve By Requests?
I had Blue Hour in my cart already, definitely getting that as I also tend to prefer the "very easy to listen to relaxing stuff." I'll check out Thad Jones.I haven’t gotten many this year but have really been enjoying The Magnificent Thad Jones and Stanley Turrentine Blue Hour classics.

Enjoy. That version of April In Paris to me is worth the price of owning it alone. Just a stunning rendition and it sounds stellar on vinyl.I had Blue Hour in my cart already, definitely getting that as I also tend to prefer the "very easy to listen to relaxing stuff." I'll check out Thad Jones.

3rd Bass doesn’t seem to work. Says release is coming up soon so if sale is still going on maybe ill try again once it’s not listed as a preorderYup discount showed up on all three in cart.
KMD opened for 3rd Bass when I saw them in 91.Though I own an OG copy of The Cactus Album, I learned (via my new book) that MF Doom got his first feature, credited then as Zev Love X, on the track “The Gas Face”.
