I didn't regret upgrading to the 4LP with the extra songs. SRTS was never my favourite (maybe due to being scarred by watching the film on video as an unprepared teenager) but I've really enjoyed the box ever since I got it. 73 Zep is decent (but not my favourite), and it sounds great

I have such nostalgia for SRTS, so I jumped on it. I have How the West Was Won and will probably get BBC at some point. What is 73 Zep?

They do take awhile. My copy of Candy-O took sooo long to arrive, that was over the summer I think. Hoping sooner since to get free shipping I added an album for my wife. (The Cure - Show)

73 Zep = Zeppelin in 73 simply! I love those 70-71-72 shows where Plant's voice is just so powerful, and 77 for the sheer power when they weren't drug addled

From what I have read, every vintage US pressing of Physical Graffiti is muddy. Too bad there's no standard 2LP version there of the remastered edition in the store. $96 for deluxe, $15 for 3 CDs, and non-sale 3LP is $60.

The 3 LP version with outtakes is probably worth having, and seems to cost around the same on the secondary market ($30-ish)

Does anyone here have LZ III deluxe with the second LP of alt & outtakes? Seems like $24 is a good price on that one.

@dbarila The only time I got something shipped quickly was the doors box set, which I asked them to cancel within 5 min of ordering since I found it cheaper elsewhere. Of course they shipped that one within a few days.

I’ve had items take 2.5 months to get and others shipped within a week. It’s all over the place. I ordered an Otis Redding box for 12 days of rhino a year or two ago and didn’t get it until February

I have the super deluxe of the first 6 albums. I'd say they're as close to the definitive version as we're going to get, until Jimmy croaks and someone else can give it the proper treatment. The only issue is on Houses of the Holy, The Ocean has some nasty distortion which is common apparently.

The ones I bought back then had different song names, and usually deliberately misspelled the band name....always assumed it was so it would be more clandestine.

I do and it's well worth it. III is my favorite LZ album by far, and if of the deluxe reissues, it's the first with extras that aren't just live cuts but are studio extras -- alternate takes or demos or early versionss -- and thus (to my mind) more interesting than just another live version of some other cuts.
