Definitely a risky proposition but when it worked out it was magic.

Happy I got it as it’s one of the few of their records I don’t own but the rest was just Michael Bublé, Josh Groban and a bunch of copies of the Guardians soundtracks.

FYI - the Tribeca one had a really decent selection yesterday. I only picked up Arcade Fire and Beasties. I stopped by the Court Street one at lunch today and it was only like 30 albums and most of them were Ardrea Bocelli.

Yea--Court St was where I went since I was right by there yesterday...awful selection. I might swing by some others if I get a chance and am nearby.

I picked this up for 9 bucks. Figured I could use a new copy. This is some mono glow in the dark situation, but the comments on Discogs claim it sounds surprisingly good.

Damn. I've only had one issue with RT and it's because I ordered from the UK one and my record just never showed up. But they are sending me a new one.

Really? Their CS has always been super helpful to me when I needed them. Though I'm still salty about them cancelling my copy of David Byrne's book

Aside from the sale thing last year where they never told me anything was cancelled, just sent me the one record, I’ve had horrible experiences on three other occasions with titles/preorders being charged, never sent, and CS just not ever responding (by email, social media, their own chat tool, etc).

Not saying my experience is everyone’s, I just don’t buy from them any more. But I know the sale thing last year I wasn’t the only one that had that happen with stuff selling out.
