Online Vinyl Deals

So uDiscover has finally made it to the point that they think my package has been lost. I'm not sure it was lost, just never actually made it to UPS. The UPS page says waiting for the package. Anywho, they asked if I wanted them sent now as a replacement, so let's try again. Who knows, maybe it did get lost and I'll get duplicates?

USPS is absolutely insane right now. I went to ship something the other day and the line wrapped around the block. Not uncommon for them to not get scanned yet at USPS especially if it's media mail. They told me media mail is extremely slow right now because of the higher than normal number of packages being sent this year.

Yeah, but my order was said to go to UPS on November 30th. I actually wasn't too worried about it, was just asking them because it didn't even look like it got out the door 😂

Oh yea--I was responding to @Vinyl&Kicks86 . It's not at all surprising that a package is "acceptance pending" right now at USPS even after 9 days. Earlier in the pandemic my Moses Sumney album was "pending acceptance" for 28 days or something crazy.

what i figured with media mail having last priority of being delivered.insane thing is i've had items that were shipped after that Bob boxset from 12 hrs. away also media mail that have already been delivered to me.but like you already mentioned everything is insanely backed up at USPS.i've read more than a few online articles stating that some customers can be expecting priority packages that were shipped off well before this Christmas week to be delivered into the new yr..

It really just depends what hub it's going through, in my experience. I forget where Udiscover is located but most of the major cities/hubs are really backed up. I have gotten media mail records in 3 days and some have taken over 30 days to arrive. I sent christmas presents weeks ago to my family since I won't get to see my brother and sister in law and most haven't been delivered yet still!

This (below) is the info available for my 11/10 order of the Velvet Underground's Matrix Tapes Box Set from uDiscover. No updates since, but also not too worried. I'm hopeful I'll get this eventually; won't sweat it too much if I don't. Between the craziness of the bargains these places offer and the insanity of the carrier situations, a wait-and-see approach seems best. :D

Yep, that's what mine said. Customer service said it's usually 5-7 business days after that for delivery. I contacted again after 21 days and they said they had no idea about it.
