Online Vinyl Deals

Anyone know what version/pressing of Sketches of Spain this is? Can't seem to track it down on Discogs. I'm not sure if it's truly a Sony Music Canada press and/or 2017.

Might be this solid yellow "We Are Vinyl" pressing - not usually a good sign. (Note: The descriptions in the comments seem to refer to a solid yellow vinyl and not the yellow/red splatter.)

If it really is a 2017 reissue I would prefer the Kevin Gray/KPG over the DOL :ROFLMAO:

My guess is the 2017 is incorrect, but I'm also having a hard time tracking down a Sony Music Canada Inc. reissue that matches up. 🤷‍♂️

CamelCamelCamel thinks this is a pretty good deal at 50 percent off.

There were a few copies left when went to order - but quickly went OOS by the time I got around to grabbing one. We'll see if it comes back into stock.

Yeah, because they are Import Titles they typically go for a bit more in the US than Europe, that being said, I don’t think many would pay $36 for this release but under $20 seems like a good value and I personally have done alright with the “We Are Vinyl” releases in the past.

The best trick I’ve found with Amazon pressings is that you can put the link to camelcamelcamel and it will show you the UPC. Then you can put that into discogs. It has been pretty accurate for me to show which pressing it actually is since Amazon is really vague sometimes

their prices are always crazy online. they do the whole "free shipping" thing but then just build in way more than shipping to the price of the records. i don't buy from them anymore because the pricing just doesn't make any sense even with sales. Same with newbury comics.

They have higher prices to help pay for workers benefits & healthcare and recruit good help for a living wage. I like to support them when I can. They came VERY close to folding up shop during the first year of the pandemic. I just wish they stocked more copies.

Also, I think we will be seeing this more and more at shops as inflation has it's effect on everything. The distributor run discount websites can cut out the overhead but are not helping the dealers in any way.
