PLOT TWIST: This just showed up. A steal for $31! TheProductsHub FTW?TheProductsHub seems shady. I purchased Dylan Bootleg Series 5: Live 75 from them for $31 two weeks ago. They are taking forever to ship and I messaged them to cancel. They didn't reply but now the order is shipped with a DHL tracking number that DHL doesn't have record of.
I finally got them on the phone and the damaged ones I'm kinda stuck on and so long as they play I can live with some dings. The boxsets I got lucky on and they were able to send out replacements for both. She also told me if the original package shows up I can keep both boxes and don't need to send any back. So that was cool of them to say too. Fingers crossed I get a bonus Dead Record Collection!That’s a bummer to hearTarget still sucks at their packaging, a few of mine came with corner dings. That sucks, and it points to some inconsistencies in their handling of orders, perhaps related to geography. All my (many, many) records from the recent Target sale were packaged well and shipped FedEx.
They did that damn UPS surepost thing where it ships UPS to the post office and then USPS delivers it. I feel like every time I get stuff sent to me through that method it has something wrong with it.
I was actually gonna come here to say how well packed all my Target stuff was this time
. I just got the 5LP All Things Must Pass and it was sent in a giant box set mailer that it fit perfectly in and was surrounded by craft paper crunched up as padding. All my others have come well packed too. It must be a geographic thing and depend on who it ships out from. Somebody at target’s warehouses must be vinyl collectors…
My orders that arrived last week were packaged great! I think these ones came out of a different wearhouse cause I ordered them on the same day but they took an extra week. Either way I'm glad others are having good experiences! This has been happening a lot to me lately. I ordered a toilet paper holder for my bathroom the other week and the package showed up with a giant red fedora in it instead lol. The alien crossing sign is hilarious thoughAll my target stuff that showed up this week was packed pretty well. My uDiscover order on the other hand... apparently Alien Crossing sign = Natty Dread.Unclear how they messed that one up.
