I have it. Its fine. You get what you pay for with the OJCs. They are a nice price. I had the the VMP version and sold it and then bought this version. I cannot tell you if there is any sound quality improvement with the VMP over the OJC. If there is, it is not 4x better.

More often than not the OJCs sound great to me. Especially ones without a barcode. And a lot of modern ones use the AAA OJC plates. Just no way of knowing what they are if they are sealed.

I thought the VMP one sounded good but the craft one step is MUCH nicer. I’d guess this OJC probably sounds the same as the VMP one.

I’ve never had an issue with the shipping charges for what it’s worth…it’s free shipping over $50 on in stock items. Preorders or backorders get charged shipping unless you also have $50 of in stock items in the same order. Pretty sure you don’t get charged extra shipping if items ship out separately. I had an order of two backordered items and was charged shipping when the first one shipped. The next one shipped a few months later and was only charged for the record and tax, no shipping.

Not a huge discount but seems to be $15 off the box set and only a few bucks off the single LP. Plus shipping is included.

Edit: seems like waiting on a udiscover coupon code is probably smarter. I’m betting this one won’t sell out and will be available for quite awhile
