Just got back from dropping them off at the UPS Store. Amazon denied my request for sending a 3rd replacement. LOL. Do I tempt fate and trying buying again?
Sure why not. At worst I just become the West Coast distributor for the Snap! EP.

My only guess is that there was something in their return algorithm that caused it to automatically deny a replacement. Like too many returns of the same item in short timeframe.
No biggie. I returned the 2nd one to the original form of payment and will just buy it again. Fingers crossed.
When the whole Neal Casal Highway Butterfly CDVINYLLASERDISCSTRAVAGANZA occurred they pushed back pretty hard on my third replacement, I think they realize if it happens twice it's likely a warehouse listing issue they can't fix remotely and the third time is likely to repeat, so they hard stop it. Not the best customer service.

I think that's probably right. Their system prefers being quick and wrong rather than slow-moving and correct. That's why they refund things super quickly versus dragging things out.

Amazon just royally screwed me too. I had grabbed that great $20 deal on the Coltrane My Favorite Things, but the mono was very warped. So I sent it back and they kept delaying my replacement till they finally cancelled it today. Then took an hour in the chat to get them to give me a refund on the original purchase. They told me to go buy it from another seller on there.... for $35...

my tool fear innoculum deluxe from the warehouse was 56....."we can't fulfill because of lack of availability, cancelled!" ... but it's still available in the warehouse. so i chatted with them asking if i can jsut get that one for the price, they told me to buy it and they'd refund 20% of the cost, which is of course less than the other one was (total coming to 68ish...still nice but not as nice a deal obvs)
