With the exception of the sleeve city ones which I find to be superior but not worth the extra scratch, all rice paper inners seem to basically be the same. Fyi
My issue is consistency, one good properly produced rice paper sleeve is as good as the next; the problem I have found the few times I have deviated has been, with the cheaper ones, there is usually a percentage of the sleeved that are jacked up (usually askew where the sleeves isn’t perfectly squared or cut too large or too small) it’s not usually a lot of them maybe a handful per order but it’s something that I haven’t ever experienced with the MoFis.

I’ve certainly experienced this with the off brands. I’ve not tried the Hudson hifi ones. Honestly, I just tack on some sleeves at plaid or Colemine to get to free shipping rather frequently. Never had an issue with those. And like i said, they Are slightly more rigid meaning less chance of them getting all weird when I slip them in between the jacket and an outer sleeve.

All things being equal, none are as good as the sleeve city ones.

I know that was a concern back at the time of the $35 for 500 Hudson Hi-Fi sleeves, but I’ve been through almost 300 of them and haven’t had a single bad one.

Since the price difference is so huge, a few inconsistent ones here and there don’t bother me one bit. With that said, same experience with @Russ I for me. I’m on my 2nd or 3rd batch of 500 sleeves from Hudson and can’t remember any bad ones. Definitely haven’t had any ones that were too small.
