The only Cornershop I still listen to is When I Was Born for the Seventh Time. The others are good, but that one is fireIt all started because I couldn't find that Cornershop cd. I have it somewhere.

I think to clear up what would comprise their setlist they should go with the long form Everything But the Dead Girl.Everything but the Dead would be a great name for a tribute band. Just not sure if they would play Dead songs or EbtG songs
Plot twist: they only play Rob ZombieI think to clear up what would comprise their setlist they should go with the long form Everything But the Dead Girl.
Big fan of David Holmes hereSome cd grabs for September. Everything but the Dead came from Discogs, which when I average it out with shipping and tax (2 of the 3 sellers did not charge tax) they came to about $7 each.

Funny – and I've always thought Van Morrissey would be a good name for a tribute band that either does Morrissey songs in Van's vocal style, or Van's songs a la Moz. Or hell, a mix of both.
That's why CD players allowed you to program play. lolAfter dipping my toes back into the cd world again for a couple of months, I am reminded a few things that I hated about them.
- Too long - freed from the 40-45 minutes of vinyl, bands decided they didn't have to cut that rap-metal song by their drummer. Just because the cd can hold 70+ minutes, doesn't mean you need to fill it up
- Hidden bonus track - if you are going to tack on a hidden song, please don't add 13 minutes of silence/noise after the last song so you have to scan through to get to the hidden song
- Sequencing - it seems that sequencing songs cycles for 2 20min sides disappeared in the 90s, with a lot of cds front loading the best songs in the first 5-6 tracks

Agreed! I might have tried it once or twice, but it was too much of a pita.Did anyone ever do that. Always seemed like far too much effort and random button pressing to be worth the pay off.
It's one of the few albums where, at one point or another, every single song on it has been my favorite.Monster is in every thrift store and flea market box I ever see. Great guitar album!
It was a buck and the didn't cost any more for shipping, so I figured I can keep this copy in the car.Monster is in every thrift store and flea market box I ever see. Great guitar album!
Exactly. There’s no reason not to have it at $1It was a buck and the didn't cost any more for shipping, so I figured I can keep this copy in the car.
What if you don’t like it? That’s my reasonExactly. There’s no reason not to have it at $1

Lol, it was the first REM record I truly disliked. There’s something about the guitar tone that grates on me.i suppose everyone's got the right to be wrong
well, yeah... what's the frequency that you play R.E.M., anyway? What if you don’t like it? That’s my reason
