If Dems manage to hold on, even with the VP being the necessary vote, I’d imagine they will vote to end the filibuster (for better or for worse) to get whatever they can to a Harris desk.Unless they use the nuclear approach that the GOP loves for forcing things through. Attach it to a budget and they only need a simple majority.
Other than Manchin, who was the other hold out of doing this before. Collins from ME?If Dems manage to hold on, even with the VP being the necessary vote, I’d imagine they will vote to end the filibuster (for better or for worse) to get whatever they can to a Harris desk.
Enema, I mean Sinema from AZOther than Manchin, who was the other hold out of doing this before. Collins from ME?
Ironically enough, if they were to hold on to the Senate via Tester. He would probably be a dissenting voice on the filibuster.Enema, I mean Sinema from AZ
Damn. I’m in a 45 minute wait.
Thats lucky. I was in line for over an hour this morning in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Land doesn't vote though. Most major metropolitan cities vote blue. Texas is a perfect example. The problem is around every city are suburbs that stay red. Read into that what you will but white flight is definitely a part of it.Having only lived in a blue state (California) it's always crezy to me to see just how much of the country is red.

There will always be one. During Obama it was Lieberman.Ironically enough, if they were to hold on to the Senate via Tester. He would probably be a dissenting voice on the filibuster.
Legitimately shocked NY doesn’t have mail-in only voting. Spoiled here in WA.Thats lucky. I was in line for over an hour this morning in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

The vibes are definitely different now than in 2016. Clinton started off her campaign high and then slowly it got worse closer to Election Day.So I am a glutton for punishment and have had CNN on for the entire morning and I will say if I were judging by vibes and voter interviews Harris is looking strong early. Of the people they have interviewed in line voting I would say it’s been 3 Harris for every 1 Trump voter.
I know this means very little, maybe it’s just a place and time type thing but I also still remember 2016 and being pretty anxious by all the voters in line saying they were voting for Trump.
Trump also seemed very subdued when speaking with the press while casting his vote. He was still talking up a big night but his to d and body language came of rather resigned.
He was low energy and angry all weekend. I think their internals say he lost.So I am a glutton for punishment and have had CNN on for the entire morning and I will say if I were judging by vibes and voter interviews Harris is looking strong early.
