My mother said "Good bye to you and your hatred" and hung up on him

We were just outside in our yard with the dog, and husband commented 'when are those assholes gonna take down that flag?' referring to my maga neighbor across the street. Another magat on our road sent out a Happy New Year text to the neighborhood chat, took everything in me not to respond 'go fuck yourself'
