My father is sharing several breaking news tweets with me about ICE raids in MA. And how they have already taken several illegals off the street in Boston with ties to MS-13, Haitian Gangs and who are murder suspects. And how the city of Boston was harboring them and protecting them with their sanctuary city status and for that reason, city officials will be prosecuted.

I got most of these yesterday, some more today. However, I find it interesting that a single local news stores doesn't mention anything about ICE raids locally or anyone illegals being round up. I imagine it's all fake news and propaganda.

However, MAGA people like my father are taking it as the truth and cheating for it.

I went to Costco yesteray- a company that has done a reasonable job of not price gagging during the past 4 years-- and has a long history of paying decent wages to their workers, but also definitely uses cheap labor for the night shifts.

Nearly everything in the store had gone up by a dollar or so since my last visit at the beginning of the month.

Gotta think they are prepping to lose all the people doing the overnight work.

That's what is so crazy to me. I admittedly KEEP dipping back to Facebook to see all my old high school friends posting "I can't wait for the great things that are coming!" I want to ask them to name one thing that will affect them directly and positively. Because I know these certain people aren't struggling finding employment or struggling to pay for things, this is truly about him cracking down on stuff they don't like. Brown people, vaccines, LGBTQ and of course the biggest villain WOKENESS.
Eggs won't be cheaper. OT will still be taxed. Etc Etc Etc.
Ugh, I could keep typing but I'll stop. I'm just SO frustrated. I know I'm not alone.

I saw that union workers are considering a strike, so i suspect that might be at play, but for sure could have major impact later.

EDIT: guess they approved the vote. 1/31 deadline Costco employee details negotiations ahead of union's strike deadline

Murder and gang activity was already illegal. If they are committing crimes they should be arrested regardless of their immigration status.
